DESCRIPTION:We are opening a dialogue between art and economics – at first glance, they seem to belong to two entirely different realities. One operates with emotions, symbols and intuition. The other one is associated with market mechanisms, numbers and analysis. Yet, it is precisely at the intersection of these worlds that the most compelling questions about contemporary times arise. Does economics shape art? Can art comment on and interpret economic mechanisms? Or perhaps both fields have long influenced and inspired each other?
