How to get to Lodz from Warsaw Chopin Airport

After landing, you can take a city train from the airport to Warsaw West Station (in Polish: Warszawa Zachodnia). The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. To find the train please follow the airport signs. Ticket can be purchased at the ticket machines that are located in most vehicles or on your way to the train station. You can also buy a ticket at the Passenger Service Points (Location: Terminal A - Arrival - pavilion 1.810/811). The cost of the single ticket is 3,40 PLN and it’s valid for 20 minutes. Remember to validate the ticket when the train departs. Ticket machines at the Chopin Airport and in the trains accept cards.

You can also take a taxi to the train station from the Chopin Airport. The taxi fare from the airport to the railway station Warszawa Zachodnia is approx. 40 PLN. ELE Taxi: +48 22 811 11 11 eletaxi.pl

When you reach Warszawa Zachodnia train station, you can take a train to Lodz. There are large-scale construction works in Warszawa Zachodnia station going so you can expect some inconvenience.

You can check your trains at: https://rozklad-pkp.pl/en  (from “Warszawa Zachodnia” to “Łódź”). There are 3 main railway stations in Lodz: Łódź Widzew, Łódź Fabryczna, Łódź Kaliska. The most central one is Fabryczna. Travel time is approx. 1,5 h. The cost of the ticket is around 40 PLN (7-8 Euro).

Flixbus has direct connections from the Chopin Airport to Lodz. It arrives at Łódź Fabryczna station.
