University of Oulu – Finlandia

The university was founded in 1958 and its goal is to conduct relevant but also socially responsible research. Building of a healthy academic community that operates in accordance with values such as creating innovation, taking responsibility for one's own actions and decisions, and achieving successes that can be worked out together are the key values of the university.

As many as ten universities, located in major European cities, belong to the European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition alliance. Each offers unique opportunities – both linguistic and academic – that can benefit all staff and students of the University of Lodz. What is good to know about them?

All of this translates into the idea of creating innovative scientific solutions to make the world more sustainable, intelligent and... human. University of Oulu welcomes all young researchers interested in pursuing multidisciplinary projects focused on: climate issues, health, human in the reality of changes, sustainable systems, digitisation and smart society to join this process.

Students of this Finnish university can obtain knowledge at eight faculties, including: Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Science or Faculty of Education and Psychology.

  • Oulu is recognised as one of Europe's largest living labs, i.e. innovation labs! Inhabitants of Oulu experiment with new technologies on an extremely large scale.
