We conduct advanced in vivo studies on animal models in full compliance with applicable regulations and with the approval of the relevant ethics committee for animal experimentation. These studies provide a comprehensive assessment of the safety and efficacy of bioactive substances, their effects on living organisms, and their potential applications in regenerative medicine and supplementation.

Scope of in vivo research includes:

✓ Assessment of the impact of bioactive substances on the microbiome – carried out using the guinea pig model (Cavia porcellus), an animal with a well-developed and sensitive gut microbiota, similar to that of humans. These studies allow for:
• analysis of microbiota composition changes after substance administration,
• evaluation of microbial balance modulation,
• identification of potential probiotic or prebiotic properties.

✓ rDNA typing (ribotyping) – we use advanced ribosomal DNA sequencing techniques to detect changes in microbial populations, which enables:
• species-level identification of microorganisms,
• comparison of microbial profiles before and after intervention,
• correlation of microbiome changes with biological effects of the tested substance.

✓ Bioefficacy testing of implants and biomaterials – we conduct experimental implantation of biomaterials in the cranial bone model of Wistar rats, allowing for:
• evaluation of biocompatibility and local tissue response,
• assessment of osteointegration processes,
• analysis of the bioefficacy of materials used in bone reconstruction,
• testing of formulations supporting hard tissue regeneration.

✓ Toxicity and safety assessment – including evaluation of systemic tolerance, hematological and histopathological parameters, and behavioral observations. These tests are essential for determining the safety profile of new formulations intended for human or animal use.
