The University of Lodz has once again become a partner of the TME Polówka Summer Film Festival. This year, we have jointly created an original section titled OFFLINE. This is a series of five open-air film screenings inviting audiences to slow down, step away from everyday life and look at the world from the perspective of nature.

How is rural Europe changing, and what do these transformations tell us about contemporary democracy? These questions will be explored during one of the European Sociological Association’s semi-plenary sessions, featuring Associate Professor Katarzyna Zajda, Head of the Social Innovation Centre at the University of Lodz.
