Karta Łodzianina

What is Karta Łodzianina? 

Karta Łodzianina (the Lodz Resident Card) is a system of promotions and discounts available throughout the city of Lodz.  

Any person above the age of 18, who declares taxes in Lodz and has a PESEL number is eligible for the card. 

How do I get it? 

To start using the Lodz Resident Card you can submit an application: 

1. Online: Karta Łodzianina
2. At a service point: Punkty obsługi - Karta Łodzianina
3. At one of 14 city libraries that are a part of the project: W tych filiach wyrobisz Kartę Łodzianina » Biblioteka Miejska w Łodzi 

How much does it cost? 

• Card – free
• Pakiet mieszkańca (resident package) – 5zł* 

*Pakiet mieszkańca is what entitles you to discounts, but to buy it you need to get the card first. 

How long is it valid for? 

Pakiet mieszkańca is active from the day of purchase until May 31^st of the following year 

What are the required documents? 

If you’re working: 

• PIT 11 or PIT 36 for previous year, along with a confirmation of submission (UPO)
• ZAP-3 form if you moved to Łódź during the current fiscal year, as well as the first page of your employment contract 

If you’re a PhD student: 

• a valid doctoral student ID card with an ELS sticker 

Can my underage children and other family members use discounts? 

If you would like your family to be able to use discounts, you can purchase pakiet mieszkańca for your family members – a separate one for each family member  

*pakiet mieszkańca for family members can only be purchased after the card owner purchased theirs 

What discounts will I get? 

Here are some examples of different kinds of discounts you can get after purchasing pakier mieszkańca: 

• Monthly MPK ticket – Migawka -20%
• Junior ticket for children above 4 and those attending primary school – 15zł/month or 144zł/12months
• Aquapark Fala  - 1 free entrance and then -15%
• The botanical garden -33%
• MOSiR -50%
• Zatoka Sportu -30%
• Flixbus -15%
• EC1 1 free entrance and then -20%
