The purpose of this procedure is to protect whistleblowers and to enable the safe reporting of legal violations within the University of Lodz.
The individual authorised to receive and verify internal reports is the Chief Specialist for Information Management:

Reports may be submitted either in writing or orally.
The report should include:
The Chief Specialist for Information Management verifies whether the report is eligible for consideration under the Procedure. This includes determining whether the reporting individual qualifies as a whistleblower within the meaning of the Procedure, and whether the subject matter of the report falls within the scope of violations defined in the Procedure. If a report does not meet the criteria for processing under the Procedure, the whistleblower will be informed. In cases where another internal procedure at the University of Lodz is more appropriate for the matter raised, the whistleblower will be advised of the possibility of using that alternative solution.
Anonymous reports will not be considered.
The Chief Specialist for Information Management will confirm receipt of the report within 7 days of its submission.
The whistleblower is protected against retaliation and discrimination. Personal data and any other information that could identify the whistleblower will not be disclosed without their explicit consent.
The Chief Specialist for Information Management conducts an investigative proceedings aimed at verifying and objectively assessing all information provided in the report.
The whistleblower will be informed of the outcome of the investigation within no more than 3 months from the date of confirmation of receipt.
