    The team has prepared a set of useful materials and documents to help you navigate the entire employment process smoothly. From practical tips to a step-by-step guidance, the Employee Affairs Centre is here to make your transition to working and living in Lodz as seamless as possible.

    What does the recruitment process look like?

    1. Application – You submit your documents in response to a selected job offer.
    2. (Diploma recognition process) – If needed. At this stage you should make sure that your education is recognised in Poland.
    3. Interview – If your application is shortlisted, we will invite you for an interview.
    4. Recruitment results – Once the process is complete, the selected candidate will be offered a position.
    5. Promise of employment – You will receive a promise of employment required e.g. for visa application.
    6. Preparing documents – At this stage you should prepare documents necessary in the employment process and to legalise your stay.
    7. Medical examination – You will receive a referral for a mandatory medical check-up.
    8. Signing documents – With the medical results, you will visit the University of Lodz Employee Affairs Centre to sign the documents required to prepare your contract.
    9. Receiving the contract – Once the contract is signed by the university’s authorised representatives, you will be invited to collect the document.
