You may be exempted from personal income tax. In order to do so it is necessary to provide a tax residency certificate from another country, preferably in English. 

The tax residency certificate should be submitted to the Payroll Department of the University of Lodz, room 1 (Rector’s Office Building, Narutowicza 68, GoogleMap) or send to dp@uni.lodz.pl.
