Education And Childcare

Public education in Poland is free and available to all children residing in the country, regardless of citizenship. This includes:

• Public kindergartens for children aged 3–6 (some fees may apply for extended hours),
• Compulsory primary education starting at age 7,
• Access to public secondary schools.

International schools and English-speaking preschools are available in larger cities.

One of the key international education providers in Lodz is the British International School of the University of Lodz (BISUL).
Established in 2013 by the University of Lodz, BISUL was created in response to the growing demand for international education in the region.
