Family Benefits

Foreign nationals working and living in Poland with their children may be eligible for the child benefit program (commonly known as “800+”). It is a universal monthly payment of 800 PLN per child, regardless of income.
To qualify, the applicant must:

• legally reside and work in Poland,
• have children living in Poland,
• meet specific residency and social insurance requirements.

The benefit is administered by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and applications are submitted electronically.
