Marzena Kardas is an experienced leader in data management, business services and operational transformation, with over 20 years of experience in international organisations in the FMCG, IT, manufacturing and finance sectors. She currently serves as VP Data Management at Barry Callebaut Group, where she is responsible for global data management strategy, reference data structure development and the implementation of innovative analytical solutions. In 2025, the Foundational Data Management programme she managed at Barry Callebaut was recognised by the CDO Forum as one of the best initiatives in Poland.
Previously, as Global Master Data Head at the same company, she led global teams responsible for master data for nearly five years, supporting digital transformation and process standardisation on an international scale.
Between 2013 and 2019, she worked for Infosys, where she held a number of management positions, including Senior Client Services Head and Head of Master Data Management & Business Analytics Services. She managed a portfolio of 12 clients with a total value of over USD 30 million, being responsible for financial results, implementation of Lean solutions, team competence development and process automation. She led teams of 1,000 people, developed competence centres in the area of Master Data and analytics, and co-created the company's technology strategy and service offering.
She began her career at Philips, where she spent four years developing her skills in finance and customer service, holding positions such as Accounts Receivable Team Leader and Customer Relations Supervisor. She was among the first group of people employed at the Philips Shared Services Centre, which built a 700-person company that became the foundation for Infosys' future success.
Marzena Kardas is also an active participant in industry initiatives – between 2016 and 2019, she served as the leader of the Łódź branch of ABSL, supporting the development of the business services sector in the region.
She graduated with honours from the University of Łódź with a degree in Finance and Banking, specialising in Tax Strategies. During her studies, she co-led the AEGEE Łódź student organisation, with which she was actively involved in promoting Poland's accession to the EU in Łódź.
