The journalist, Dariusz Pawłowski, explained to readers of "Dziennik Łódzki" the circumstances surrounding the recording. The idea was born in late January of the current year, and the rehearsal and filming were squeezed into one midweek evening.
We learn from the article that conductor Aleksandra Ryłko has chosen a classic from Elvis Presley's repertoire for this project – Can't Help Falling in Love with You – in an arrangement for four voices, recorded in the iconic fireplace room of the Biedermann’s Palace.
Pawłowski also provided an explanation for the music video and its concept: it was meant to show love from a slightly different perspective than usual – not only through the prism of pink hearts, but above all through warmth, understanding, support and passion. The entire video has been created around this key principle.
The article also reveals that the choir members enriched the music video with shared memories: performing alongside Beata Kozidrak at the Atlas Arena, a Christmas Eve tour, singing carols in parishes and shots from summer travels. Pawłowski's article also mentions the music video's premiere, which took place on Valentine's Day and was warmly received.
Thank you for the kind words!
We encourage you to watch the music video on the choir's official channel:
