During the three-hour meeting, the event participants will share their knowledge and experience in planning, conducting and communicating public consultations in municipalities. Topics related to common challenges in public consultations will be discussed (e.g., how to convey difficult information), as well as the advantages and disadvantages of innovative deliberative tools.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Microsoft Teams platform. The detailed programme of the event is presented below.
The workshop will be coordinated by Dr Ewa Boryczka and mgr Klaudia Kamińska, and led by Dr Ewa Boryczka, Dr Kamil Brzeziński, mgr Klaudia Kamińska and mgr Agata Burlińska.
The workshops are a continuation of the IDUB project „Participatory adaptation of cities to climate change: A guide to effective action by authorities and residents for Polish and Eastern European cities". The publication – the eponymous Guide – can be downloaded free of charge from the website of the University of Lodz Press. The workshops are a part of the 60th Anniversary Jubilee of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Lodz.
