The tasks in the area of teaching duties:
conducting teaching activities carried out within the framework of the employment relationship on an annual basis, as determined by the Senate for full-time, part-time and postgraduate studies, including teaching activities using distance learning methods and techniques; preparing, in a timely manner, the documentation required of academic staff in the course of their studies; participating in the development and updating of curricula and teaching schedules; preparing course documentation for academic staff in a timely manner; conducting examinations and final course tests, including diploma examinations; taking care of students' credit and term papers; supervising students' term papers; conducting and reviewing diploma theses; preparing teaching materials for classes; carrying out consultations with students at a fixed number of hours per week; improving one's own professional qualifications in the field of teaching; taking care of the high quality of education and compliance of the teaching work with the principles of the internal system of education quality assurance; performing other teaching duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Scope of tasks in the area of research responsibilities:
conducting and participating in scientific research and development work; disseminating the results of scientific or development research by publishing the results; actively participating in scientific conferences and seminars, financed as part of the tasks carried out by the unit or on other terms adopted by the University; training scientific staff and supervising their development; improving one's own professional qualifications, including for the purpose of obtaining further academic degrees and title.
The tasks in the area of organisational responsibilities:
work in the collegiate bodies of the University and in faculty, senate and rectoral committees; working in recruitment committees and examination committees in the process of enrolling students; organising and participating in promotional and presentation events for the University; organising conferences, symposia, seminars and other academic activities; performing functions assigned by superiors, including such as: the role of year supervisor or student group supervisor; supervising study circles and study camps; supervising students' work placements; other organisational activities aimed at improving the functioning of the University, the quality of education and research; other organisational duties assigned by the immediate superior.
The Dean's Representative for Studies in English assists in the effective coordination, quality assurance, and development of studies conducted in English, supporting both students and faculty members involved in international education.
