POSITION DESCRIPTION
I support the Centre for Brand Communications team in terms of bilingual communication by providing translations (from Polish to English and from English to Polish). The translated texts mostly regard popular science content (including the content of the University of Lodz website e.g. news; Employee Service; social media: fb or Instagram). I am also in charge of proofreading.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
I have graduated in English Philology from the University of Lodz. During my studies and a few years after, I used to teach English both in the country and abroad. I have worked as an English teacher in Poland and Ireland. Then I started working at the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Lodz, where my adventure with language editing and translating began. Currently, I am an employee of the Centre for Brand Communications at the University of Lodz, which provides me with the opportunities to develop and do what I really like – translate. I am an open and sociable person. At the same time I am responsible and hardworking. I willingly take up challenges and learn new things.
