Justyna Ratkowska-Pasikowska, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Łódź (Poland). For over twenty years she has been engaged in teaching and research in the fields of sexuality, education, and qualitative methodologies. Her work focuses on autoethnography, narrative inquiry, and the study of life transitions and initiatory experiences across different social and cultural contexts. She has published extensively on sexuality, gender, and education, and has recently been conducting narrative-biographical interviews within the NCN-funded project Initiation in Education. She is also an experienced teacher and supervisor, supporting students in developing their methodological sensitivity, reflexivity, and writing practices. Combining academic rigor with creative approaches to research and teaching, she is passionate about autoethnography as both a methodological tool and a way of fostering self-understanding and intercultural dialogue.
