Conducting scientific research, primarily focused on plant species occurring in relict habitats and the development and application of methods for analyzing their ecological niches.
Member of the research team Refugia and Relict Plants, contributing to studies on the biogeography and conservation of relictual vegetation.
Teaching academic courses, particularly in phytogeography, geobotanical research methods, and the taxonomic diversity of plant flora.
Supervising diploma theses, guiding undergraduate and graduate students in ecological and botanical research projects.
Advisor to the Student Scientific Club for Nature Conservation, supporting student engagement in biodiversity and conservation initiatives.
Treasurer of the Łódź Branch of the Polish Botanical Society, responsible for financial oversight and organizational coordination.
Bio
June 30, 1997 – obtaining a master's degree in environmental protection at the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences of the University of Lodz (Department of Applied Ecology). Thesis topic: "Assessment of seasonal and multi-annual changes in phosphorus content in selected willow species in terms of optimizing buffer zones"; thesis supervisor: prof. dr hab. Maciej Zalewski.
October 19, 2004 – obtaining a doctorate in biological sciences in the field of ecology by resolution of the Council of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz. Title of doctoral dissertation: "The impact of roads on the diversity of vascular flora of forests in the Bolimów Landscape Park"; supervisor: prof. dr hab. Janina Jakubowska-Gabara.
October 30, 2018 – obtaining a postdoctoral degree in biological sciences in the discipline of ecology. Title of achievement: "The impact of anthropogenic linear gaps in the tree stand on the diversity of vascular plant flora and bryophytes of commercially used forests".

Biology and ecology of plants inhabiting relict habitats (climatic relicts).
Modeling relationships between plants and their living environment using R.
Identifying factors that promote the formation of local centers of plant diversity.
Understanding the factors that support the survival of rare species populations in anthropogenically altered environments.
