About the exhibition
The UniLodz Faculty of Philology will once again host a unique exhibition curated by students of Audiovisual Media and Digital Culture in January of the current year. This year's edition – under the theme "The End of the Retro Era" – will explore the boundaries of nostalgia, the ageing of technology and the cultural significance of retrogaming. Borderline devices – consoles that represented a significant step forward in their era and today serve as a bridge between "retro" and "modern" will be at the centre of this year’s exhibition
