Polish Language Centre For Foreigners

The University of Lodz Polish Language Centre For Foreigners is one of the oldest and most recognisable places in Poland. We have been teaching Polish as a foreign language here, combining learning with learning about other cultures since 1952.

At the University of Lodz Polish Language Centre For Foreigners, we host people from all over the world – young people starting their studies in our country and those who want to better understand Polish language, customs and society. We strive to prepare everyone for life in their new surroundings.

The atmosphere at the Centre is something our students will remember for a long time – informal, friendly and open to diversity. We teach Polish, but we also strive to build a community based on UniLodz's key values: courage, curiosity, cooperation, commitment and respect for others.

Every day we strive to create a place where language becomes a tool of communication and learning is the beginning of something more than just an academic adventure.
