On October 23-25, 2025, the 7th Conference Nature of the Tatra National Park and Man took place in Zakopane, where we presented the results of three projects.

The 7th Conference "Nature of the Tatra National Park and Humans" took place in Zakopane from October 23-25, 2025. "How to Protect Nature in the Face of Climate and Social Change" is the title of the conference, organized every five years by the Tatra National Park and the Polish Society of Friends of Earth Sciences. Our Department was represented by colleagues Piotr Gadawski and Grzegorz Tończyk, who presented a paper and two posters. Presentation topics:

The presented research is the result of the Biodiversity Genomic Europe project and the work of the Department of As part of the Polish Barcode of Life initiative, the topics covering the entomofauna of the Tatra Mountains are the result of cooperation between the Departments and the Tatra National Park. The presentations were very well received. We established further scientific contacts. Another conference in the series "TPN Nature and Humans in 5 Years."

The conference was connected to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Tatra National Park. We participated in related events. We congratulate the park employees and wish them many years of successful work, the primary goal of which is to preserve the Tatra Mountains' nature.
