Stay Calm. 
Assess the Situation and Act Quickly.

Warn people in the immediate vicinity.
Clearly alert others to the fire by shouting, for example, “Fire!”. Assist anyone who may have difficulty evacuating.

Activate the Fire Alarm.
If a manual fire alarm call point is available, use it.

Call 112 or 998.
Provide the location of the fire and indicate whether anyone is at risk.

If It Is Safe to Do So, Use a Fire Extinguisher.
Do not put your health or life at risk.

Begin Evacuation.
Proceed to the nearest emergency exit. Pay particular attention to individuals who may have difficulty leaving the building independently.

Do not use lifts.
Use stairways only.

Avoid smoke.
Stay low to the floor and cover your mouth and nose.

Close doors behind you.
Do not lock them.

Proceed to the assembly point.
Remain there until further notice.

Do not return to the building.
Not even to collect personal belongings.

Follow the instructions of the emergency services.
