Receiving Information About an Explosive Device

Stay Calm.
Do not end the call and try to keep the caller talking for as long as possible.

Obtain as Much Information as Possible.
Try to determine where the device is located, when the explosion may occur and any other details concerning the threat.

Pay Attention to the Details of the Conversation.
Remember or write down the content of the call, any distinctive features of the caller’s voice and any background noises that can be heard.

Inform Your Supervisor or the UniLodz Security.
Pass on all the information you have obtained.

Call 112.
Immediately notify the emergency services.

Follow the Instructions of the Emergency Services.
Comply with all directions issued by the relevant authorities.

Do not respond to the message.
Do not take any action on your own and do not disseminate the information.

Inform your supervisor or the University of Lodz security.
Provide the content of the message and the circumstances in which it was received.

Remain calm.
Stay where you are and await further instructions.

Prepare for a possible evacuation.
Take only essential items with you if instructed to do so.

Follow the instructions of the emergency services.
