Suspicious Object
Do Not Touch the Object.
Do not move it, open it or attempt to inspect its contents.
Assess the Situation from a Safe Distance.
Pay attention to any unusual features, such as protruding wires, odours or sounds.
Secure the Area.
Mark the danger zone and restrict access to unauthorised persons.
Inform the UniLodz Security or Your Supervisor.
Provide information about the object's location and the reasons for your concern.
Call 112.
If there is any suspicion of danger, immediately notify the emergency services.
Move Away from the Hazard Area.
Remain at a safe distance and do not return to the danger zone.
Follow the Instructions of the Emergency Services.
In the event of an evacuation, comply with the directions of those coordinating the rescue operation.
A suspicious item may be any unattended package, bag, backpack or other device whose owner cannot be identified and whose appearance or the circumstances in which it was found give cause for concern. Any such situation should be treated seriously and reported to the appropriate services without delay.
