The picnic will be held on Friday, 3 June between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the premises of the Academic Sports Club Lodz.
There will be plenty of attractions. The programme will include, among others, chemical experiments, Arabic calligraphy lessons, exotic invertebrate show, origami workshops, experiments related to electromagnetism, Korean children's games, face painting or competitions with prizes.
Games, competitions and animations will be prepared by members of Student Science Clubs. There will be: Acoto Student Science Club, Student Club for Glottodidactics, Science Club for Literary Culture of the 20th and 21st centuries, NABLA Science Club of Physics Students, Section of Invertebrate Zoology SKNB UL, WAGABUNDA Student and Doctoral Student Science Club of UL Ethnologists, UL ORBITAL Student Science Club of Chemists, Student Club for American Studies and Mass Media, Student Science Club of Political Scientists, Student Club for Eastern Asia and the Pacific, Student Science Club for Middle East Al-Mashrik and dr Agnieszka Jaros, dr Diana Muller-Siekierska and dr Magdalena Staniaszek from the Faculty of Educational Sciences. University of Lodz Kindergarten will also be with us.
Our partners also prepared animations and workshops:
- #BądźJakAlina – i.e., picnic activities for children around empathy and superpowers on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Alina Margolis-Edelman's birth. The creative collective consisting of Aleksandra Shay, Kamila Majchrzycka-Szymańska and Anna Mrozińska-Szmajda from the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in Łódź (15-17.30) will be in charge.
- Design DIY jewellery – upcycling workshops. We will create our own unique jewelry from used UniLodz banners. The classes will be conducted by artists from the Up-life Foundation – Jola Królicka and Ada Rybka.
- ARCHIZO architectural and artistic workshops. Classes with the use of unique architectural blocks will be conducted by the originator and author of the architectural puzzle ARCHIZO – Marta Nowacka (15-16.30 and 16.40-18.10)
- "PARKATONIKI" – mobile "theatre boxes" – a completely different view of theatre. Three mini performances-etudes illustrated with classical music, performed by actresses from the Fundacja Tworzenia i Promowania Sztuki – ależ Gustawie! [Foundation for Creation and Promotion of Art] from Łódź (15-16.30).
- Sports games and activities with the Moonway Foundation team. You are welcome to take part in the volleyball training, throwing classes and playing Ultimate Frisbee with the guests from the Ultimate Frisbee 042 team from Łódź, and slackline walking, where you can learn the natural balance of the body while having great fun.
- And the picnic finale ... A mini concert of songs for children performed by the band "4", the musical idea of which is based on 4 values: universalism, diversity, fun and education.
If it rains, we will still play together and have fun but in the AZS hall.
In order to make it possible to take part in the event with their children by as many people as possible, on this day you can leave work earlier. Thus, we are joining the action Two hours for the family.
The event is organised by the University of Lodz, the Polish Teachers' Union of the University of Lodz and Academic Sports Club Lodz.

Університетський День Захисту Дітей
3 червня в Люмумбові відбудеться сімейний інтеграційний пікнік до Дня Захисту Дітей. Запрошуємо всіх членів спільноти Лодзинського Університету з дітьми, а також сім'ї з України, які проживають в університетському академічному житловому містечку.
Пікнік відбудеться у п’ятницю, 3 червня після обіду в Академічному Спортивному Товаристві (AZS).
Розваг не забракне. Для дітей заплановані ігри, забави, майстер-класи та анімації, підготовлені Студентськими Дослідницькими Клубами Лодзинського університету та зовнішніми організаціями.
Незабаром ми надамо більше деталей.
