This year, our community is celebrating its 80th anniversary

This round anniversary allows us to return to what is important to us: community, dialogue and cooperation – an approach focused on people and their well-being. At the same time, we remember that although the university is not only about research and teaching, they are the foundations of our activities – the driving force of development for all communities.

 

As a university, we want to be a part of our local community, create science with and for people. We want to not only educate but also train and shape new generations. We want to create #HumanUniversity

UNIVERSITY OF LODZ IS A CONSTANTLY EXPANDING COMMUNITY, SHARING ITS EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGE, DRAWING STRENGTH FROM ITS DIVERSITY AND TRADITION OF MULTICULTURALISM

University of Lodz – 80 years of shared history, almost 26,000 people studying in over 90 study programmes, people studying at doctoral schools, candidates and those who have already completed their education at UniLodz. It is also our social, economic and cultural environment. UniLodz is almost 4,000 employees – scientists, teachers and people who are not academics. It is 12 faculties, a branch in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, the University of Lodz Library, Lodz University Press, a kindergarten, a high school, the British International School of the University of Lodz and the Polish Language Centre for Foreigners.

The University of Lodz is an integrated academic community. The University of Lodz is us.
