
The conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Voivode of Małopolska and the Presidents of Tarnów, Oświęcim and Nowy Sącz.
The inaugural lectures were delivered by the Minister of Energy, Miłosz Motyka, the Voivode of Małopolska, Krzysztof Jan Klęczar, MP Dominik Jaśkowiec, and the President of the Management Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Dorota Zawadzka-Stępniak.

The conference featured three panel discussions:
- Challenges and the Role of the Environment in the National Security System
- Critical Infrastructure and Resilience to Environmental Disasters
- Dispersed Energy Sources – Does It Work in Poland?
The conference concluded with the "Ekoliderzy 2025 Województwa Małopolskiego" gala, during which local administration units were awarded for implementations that have improved the region's natural environment.
