On Friday, December 13, at the invitation of the University of Minho, Professor Tomasz Kamiński delivered a seminar in Braga, Portugal, titled “Cities as Actors in the EU Policy Towards China”. During the session, Professor Kamiński presented the research findings developed by the Paradiplomacy Lab, detailing how European cities engage with their Chinese counterparts and influence the broader EU-China relationship.
Also on December 13, at the invitation of the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs (CIDOB), Dr. Joanna Ciesielska-Klikowska gave a speech focusing on international city cooperation. She also engaged with practitioners and officials to discuss the opportunities, potential benefits, and challenges that cities face when operating on the international stage.
