The University of Lodz dormitories during the summer holiday period
- The University of Lodz students, doctoral students, participants of the University of Lodz doctoral schools and students of the Polish Language Centre for Foreigners of the University of Lodz may extend the period of residence in a given dormitory for the summer holiday period by registering an application for accommodation in a dormitory for the summer holidays via the Usosweb IT system.
- If it is necessary to stay in a dormitory for the entire summer holiday period, i.e. from 1 July 2023 to 20 September 2023, the application must be registered three times in the Usosweb, separately for each month.
- Other persons (graduates of the University of Lodz, persons removed from the list of students, guests, students of other universities) may apply for accommodation in a student dormitory for the summer holiday period, i.e. from 1 July -15 September 2023, by delivering a personally filled in and signed application form – Attachment No. 1 in paper version to the seat of the University of Lodz Social Affairs Centre for Students and Doctoral Students, Lumumby 1 (you should remember that priority in granting a place in a given University of Lodz dormitory during the summer holidays is given to students, doctoral students and students of the Polish Language Centre for Foreigners of the University of Lodz residing in the dormitory during the academic year 2022/2023).
- The payment of all outstanding debts resulting from accommodation in a facility of the University of Lodz is a condition for obtaining a place in a given dormitory.
- Dates for the first round of the Usosweb application registration: 5 June 2023 to 10 September 2023.
- Processing steps for applications registered in the Usosweb: once the application has been registered in the UsosWeb, the student will receive a notification on their university email inbox that the status of the application has changed (application registered → ready for processing → processed). Notification of the student's allocated place in the student dormitory for a given month will appear in the Usoweb in the details of the student application for accommodation in the University of Lodz dormitory.
Applications registered in the Usosweb between 5 June and 22 June 2023 with the status "ready for processing" – will be considered by the University Committee for Allocation of Places in Student Dormitories by 27 June 2023.
Applications for the summer holiday period submitted/registered in the Usoweb after 22 June 2023 will be considered successively by the committee at later dates.
During the summer holiday period, the committee assigns places in the University of Lodz dormitories, it is not possible to:
- grant a double or triple room to one person,
- exchange accommodation in one dormitory to another dormitory.
