First place and the Forge of Talents 2025 Grand Prize went to the RuFus Team consisting of:
- Kamila Samolej (University of Lodz)
- Maciej Ślot (University of Lodz)
- Dr Agata Bielecka-Dąbrowa (I CZMP)
The team was awarded for developing a non-invasive radio sensor that enables rapid, quantitative detection of transudate in the lungs. This is a solution with a huge implementation potential and importance for medical diagnostics.
Additionally, our university was represented in the competition by:
- Prof. Łukasz Półtorak – the University of Lodz Ambassador of Knowledge Transfer, Faculty of Chemistry,
- Prof. Aneta Pawłowska – the Head of the Department of History of Painting and Sculpture and the Head of the Institute of History of Art., Faculty of Philosophy and History, University of Lodz,
- Aleksandra Kocik – a graduate of the University of Lodz, the SpeechFlow President,
- Kotryna Gasiulyte – a student from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Lodz,
- Student Science Club Inwestor from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, represented by Bartosz Bar.
During the event the University of Lodz Centre for Technology Transfer was represented by Jarosław Kowalewski, Deputy Director of the centre.
