
During the University Management Accounting Day (UMAD) attendees can learn about the role of management accounting and its importance for business. The event will begin with a lecture ‘One step ahead. What do I get out of the CGMA® Professional Qualification?’, delivered by AICPA & CIMA’s representative – Paweł Rozen.
This will be followed by CIMA Business Game. Students will work in teams on a business case study to find solutions for given problems.
Students will also have a chance to learn about the CGMA University Program. The CGMA Program is implemented through selected courses at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. Students who complete all required courses are exempt from specific CIMA exams, and after passing the final external exam, they can obtain a CIMA designation at two levels (Certificate and Operational. Enrolment for the Program is open until 19 November.
