Webinar w ramach projektu Erasmus Goes Green: "How to encourage sustainable exchange?"

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of this century. However, Erasmus+, one of the EU’s main instruments to support growth, jobs, equity and social inclusion, has been slow to include green action in its own functioning. The webinar on minimizing the carbon footprint of Erasmus+ mobility will take place on 7 June 2022. The meeting is organised by the Erasmus University Rotterdam, which, just like the University of Lodz, belongs to the UNIC alliance.

The Erasmus Goes Green project, a consortium of five universities, the European University Foundation and the Erasmus Student Network, is all about reducing the carbon footprint of Erasmus+ travels, by empowering students and staff to make more conscious and environmentally friendly decisions when going on mobility abroad. The webinar is organised by the Erasmus University Rotterdam, which, just like the University of Lodz, belongs to the UNIC alliance.

During this online event we will explore institutional and student-driven approaches to changing the travel behaviour of Erasmus+ students and staff. We will be zooming in on the role of data, data visualization and ways to empower students in sustainability efforts.
