The 2nd International Doctoral Conference – Social Sciences in the Research of Young Scientists is currently taking place from June 12 to 14, 2025, organized by the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Lodz.

The event aims to showcase the latest research conducted by young scholars and to provide a platform for exchanging experiences, perspectives, and methodologies within the broad field of social sciences. Once again, the conference affirms the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue among early-career researchers.

The conference brings together PhD candidates and young researchers representing the following disciplines:

  • Economics and finance

  • Socio-economic geography and spatial management

The conference is held in a hybrid format:

  • June 12–13, 2025 – on-site sessions in Łódź
  • June 14, 2025 – online sessions
