POSITION DESCRIPTION

PhD student in the Doctoral School of Social Sciences in the field of legal sciences.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Master's of Law. Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź. I prepared and defended my master's thesis in the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law under the supervision of Jerzy Leszczyński, Ph.D., who is currently supervisor of my research during my education and work on my doctoral thesis in the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Łódź.

INTERESTS

My research interests are focused on issues of theory, philosophy and sociology of law. In my research, I explore the issue of discourse about law. In particular, I am interested in the appearance of law in public (non-professional) discourse, taking place, e.g., in social media.

A second area of my interest is the issues of instrumentalisation of law in the regulations of the Third Reich in historical-legal and philosophical-legal perspectives. In this area, I have also researched transitional justice after the Third Reich's collapse and philosophical-legal perspectives on this issue, among which the basis and implications of Gustav Radbruch's formula and Hans Kelsen's philosophy should be mentioned in particular.
