I teach courses in English for Specific Purposes (ESP), with a particular focus on Business English, Legal English and English for IT, as well as the linguistics of specialised texts, corporate discourse, and specialised translation from Polish into English and from English into Polish. I also teach Practical English in institutional contexts.
I supervise and review degree theses.
My research interests are in the field of applied linguistics, with a particular focus on the analysis of specialised texts and discourse, specialised communication, and the teaching of languages for specific purposes.
I serve as a year tutor and Programme Coordinator for the Linguistics for Business programme. In my role as Programme Coordinator, I oversee ongoing organisational and academic matters, liaise with students, contribute to the revision and development of the curriculum and course syllabi, monitor the quality of education, and assist in the initial resolution of academic and organisational issues.
I am also a member of the Teaching Council at the Department of Languages for Specific Purposes and Intercultural Communication and coordinate courses with English as the language of instruction in the Linguistics for Business and Linguistics in Specialised Communication programmes.
