1. Work relating to the implementation of research conducted by the Department of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry.

2. Work related to the organisation of didactic classes, including the preparation of plant material, equipment and reagents for laboratory classes.

3. Operation of specialist scientific equipment remaining in the department.

4. Performing biochemical analyses.

5. Operating autoclaves and sterilising media and tools necessary for working in vitro.

6. Taking care of reagents (supplying missing items and recording rationed reagents).

7. Work related to maintaining the bank of plant pathogens remaining in the Department's possession.

8. Maintain the general order of equipment remaining in the Department's possession.

9. Liquidating fixed and low-value assets in the Department of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry's stock.
