Teaching responsibilities: Lecturer and course coordinator in the Microbiology and Biotechnology programs, delivering courses such as Fundamentals of Genetics for Biotechnologists, General Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbial Genetics, Seminars for Second-Cycle (Master’s) Students, and specialized laboratory classes. Supervisor of Bachelor's and Master's theses.
Research activities: Research focused on human pathogenic fungi (dermatophytes) at the transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic levels. Principal Investigator of research projects funded by the National Science Centre (NCN).
Organizational duties: Responsible for administrative and financial management of research grants and departmental funds (including invoice processing). Coordination of teaching schedules within the Department.
A molecular microbiologist with over 20 years of experience in scientific research and academic teaching. She specializes in innovative research methodologies and supports the development of early-career researchers. In parallel, she has been developing strong competencies in artificial intelligence and digital education, confirmed by numerous certifications and participation in expert-level projects.
She is a member of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, where she is responsible for media communication and actively contributes to the sections “AI and Human Rights” and “Awareness, Competences and Digital Hygiene.” She is a co-creator of the AI-ready University project, implemented in cooperation with CampusAI Poland.
She also volunteers with the SpeakLeash | Spichlerz Foundation, a community working pro bono on the development of the Polish large language model BIELIK.AI . As an editor of hAI magazine, she promotes the responsible use of artificial intelligence in science, education, and society.
