As an assistant professor at the Faculty of Geographical Sciences at the University of Lodz, I carry out research, teaching, and organizational duties in accordance with the mission and development strategy of the University of Lodz. In my research, I conduct research in socio-economic geography, covering issues of local and regional development, entrepreneurship, socio-economic transformation of urban and rural areas, quality of life of residents, and spatial transformation processes. I prepare and publish research results in national and international scientific journals and monographs, participate in scientific conferences, develop collaborations with national research centers, and participate in the preparation and implementation of research projects. In my teaching, I teach classes at both first- and second-cycle levels, in accordance with current academic standards and the needs of the labor market. I supervise bachelor's theses, support students in developing their research and analytical competencies, and participate in the process of improving the quality of education. My responsibilities also include organizational tasks for the Faculty and the University, including participation in committees and teams (including serving as a member of the University Housing Committee, the Disciplinary Committee for Student Affairs, and the Faculty Committee for Cooperation with the Socio-Economic Community). Furthermore, I actively participate in organizing scientific and teaching events within the Faculty of Geographical Sciences, collaborating with external stakeholders, and promoting the Faculty of Geographical Sciences and the University of Lodz.
