The position of assistant professor in the teaching staff group includes tasks in the area of teaching and organisational duties.

The tasks in the area of teaching duties include:

- teaching classes;

- preparing in due time the documentation of the course of studies obligatory for academic teachers;

- conducting examinations and final course tests

- taking care of students' credit and term papers;

- conducting consultations with students, amounting to 2 hours a week;

- improving one's own professional qualifications in the area of teaching.

 

The scope of tasks in the area oforganisationalresponsibilities, includes:

- participation in the work of the Council of the Faculty of Education Sciences;

- cooperation with the socio-cultural environment in terms of promoting good pedagogical practices;

- supervision of professional practice of students preparing to become preschool and early childhood education teachers;

- other organisational duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
