POSITION DESCRIPTION

Popularisation of knowledge among faculty staff about the principles of implementing accessibility concepts in academia and academic work; promotion of information on accessibility training; supporting the design and implementation at faculty of investments and organisational efforts to ensure architectural, digital and ICT accessibility for people with special needs.


Collaboration in the development and monitoring of the implementation of sustainable development policy at the faculty; undertaking activities to increase awareness and knowledge of the sustainability goals among members of the faculty community; cooperation with relevant university and faculty units in the implementation of the sustainable development goals at the faculty.



Research responsibilities include in particular: conducting and participating in scientific research and development work. Dissemination of research results through publication. Active participation in scientific conferences and seminars. Educating scientific staff and taking care of their development. Improving one's own professional qualifications.


Teaching duties include, in particular: teaching classes and developing teaching materials. Conducting examinations and credits, including diploma examinations. Conducting and reviewing diploma theses.


Organisational duties include in particular: working in the collegiate bodies of the University and in departmental, senatorial and rectorial committees, performing functions assigned by superiors including: the role of a year supervisor. Organising conferences, seminars and other forms of academic activity. Supporting the activities of the Polish Scientific Network of Labour Law and Social Security COOPERANTE.


BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE


Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz. She received the degree of Doctor of Laws in 2010 - Doctoral thesis entitled ‘Temporary employment in Polish labour law - construction and legal nature’. She received the post-doctoral degree in 2020 - habilitation dissertation entitled ‘Freedom of work of persons with disabilities as a legally protected value’.

Member of the faculty accessibility team.

Dean's of the WPiA representative for accessibility and sustainable development in the term 2024-2028.

Chairperson of the Rector's Committee on the Study Regulation in the 2020-2024 and 2024-2028 terms.

Member of the Council of the UL Doctoral School of Social Sciences for 2024-2028.

In the period of 10.2018 - 09.2022 supervisor of first-year students in the Social Policy course.

Member of the Polish Social Security Association and the Polish Scientific Network of Labour Law and Social Security COOPERANTE.



INTERESTS


Author of various scientific publications on labour law, including books, commentaries, articles and glosses. Her scientific interests include, in particular, the issues of employment and professional and social rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, legal measures against unemployment, social security of social risks, as well as temporary employment and other atypical forms of employment. Participant and main contractor in scientific research projects.



ACHIEVEMENTS


For her thesis entitled ‘Temporary employment agency as an employing entity’ awarded in the 8th edition of the Competition for the best master's and doctoral theses, organised by the Institute of Labour and Social Affairs in Warsaw.

Awarded the Rector of the University of Lodz for outstanding and creative scientific and research achievements in 2012, 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2024, as well as for organisational activities in 2023 and 2024.
