Associate Professor of Social Pedagogy and Social Work in the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Rehabilitation.

In our department, we are combining research, fieldwork, and learning. Considering practice (for example community work, that we are coproducing in disadvantaged neighbourhoods) our focus is being put on emancipation, social recognition, and other political effects. Regarding education, we develop conditions for transformative action learning.

Fields of interest: community work in disadvantaged neighbourhoods; public discourse and social problems; empowering youth work; qualitative social research methods; critical social pedagogy; participatory action research.
