BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

  • Graduate of Polish Philology (2010) and the Doctoral Studies in Language, Literature, and Culture at the Faculty of Philology, University of Łódź (2014).
  • Author of a doctoral dissertation titled Types of Entertainment in Polish Commercial Radio defended in 2015.

INTERESTS

My scientific interests revolve around the broad concept of the auditory medium. They focus on fields such as radio entertainment, radio documentary, radio multimodality, new media aspects of radio (particularly mobile applications of stations and online communities created by broadcasters), sound visualization, sound ecology, and soundscape.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • I have prepared over 40 scientific articles published in journals and monographs. I have served as an editor for collective monographs and two issues of a indexed journal. I am the author of the monograph titled The Entertainment Aspect of Commercial Radio.
  • I have participated in over 40 national and international conferences and have also co-organized several of them.
  • I received the 3rd-degree Rector's Award from the University of Łódź for scientific and research activities for 2021.
  • I was a researcher in the MEiN grant "Science for Society.
