I have been an employee of the Department of Macroeconomics since 2002. In the past, I was associated, among others, with the National Bank of Poland (2008–2017), the International Labour Office of the United Nations (2014–2015), and the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2017–2018). From 2019 to 2024, I served as the director of the Institute of Economic and Financial Expertise in Łódź. I have lectured at Łazarski University in Warsaw, the University of Economics in Poznań, Zhengzhou International College (China), and, as part of shorter teaching visits, at universities in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Romania, and Hungary. I have led several grants from the National Science Centre (NCN), including two OPUS grants. Since 2025, I have been the editor-in-chief of the journal Eastern European Economics.
