The duties of the facilities maintenance worker at the University of Lodz Library include:

- maintaining the cleanliness of the areas surrounding the buildings and the facility grounds (general tidying, grass mowing, and—during winter—snow removal and ensuring safe access to entrances)

- performing maintenance and repair work inside the buildings and on the facility grounds (including minor repairs and renovation tasks)

- assisting with the unloading of deliveries and the distribution of equipment and materials to specific rooms

- actively supporting the execution of tasks such as relocations, supply-related activities, etc.
