I graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Lodz. Since October 2022, I am a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences in the discipline of sociological sciences. In my dissertation I examine the social patterns of future-thinking in the contemporary world.
I receive scholarship working in a NCN OPUS 26 project Illegal dumping: creating social order and disorder in urban space.
I belong to the Polish Sociological Association, I am a board member of the Lodz Department of the PSA for the term 2024–2026.
I was a member of the University Doctoral Students’ Government Council (URSD) for the term 2022–2024. I participated in two of its teams: one focusing on the mental health of doctoral students and the other dedicated to cultural integration.
My research interests revolve around the sociology of culture, the social aspect of time and space, and qualitative methods. I am also interested in issues related to urban life, such as urban cultures and identities. I look for inspiration in the links between sociology and other disciplines, particularly cultural anthropology and philosophy.
For my thesis Constructing memory in the space of the Bałuty district in Łódź. Sociological analysis I was awarded the main prize in the Krystyna and Jan Lutyńscy competition for the best master's thesis defended at the Institute of Sociology, University of Lodz in 2022.
