Employed at the University of Lodz since 2004. Deputy Director of the Institute of Urban Geography, Tourism and Geoinformation since 2011. 

In the years 2016-2024 Vice-Dean for Promotion, External Contacts and Teaching Support of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences. In the years 2016-2020 a member of the University Commission for the Quality of Education. 

At the Institute of Urban Geography, Tourism and Geoinformation, the function of Coordinator of the Tourism and Recreation (1st degree) and Sustainable Tourism (2nd degree). Expert of the Polish Accreditation Commission in the discipline of socio-economic geography and spatial management. 

Mountain guide (Beskids), many years of professional experience in the tourism industry.

Dark tourism and thanatourism - the use of death space for tourism and recreation, cemeteries and sepulchral space - master's, doctoral and habilitation thesis.

Geography of tourism, cultural tourism, cultural heritage in tourism, tourism organization, tourist development. 

Active tourism, city and mountain guiding, exploring, survival training.
