Biography

Dr hab. (habilitated doctor) in economics and Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Finance, University of Lodz. His research focuses on macroeconomics and public finance, with particular emphasis on the interplay between fiscal policy, monetary policy and economic growth and development. His habilitation thesis examined how macroeconomic equilibrium is established under monetary and fiscal transmission shocks.

Research

He is the author of more than 60 scholarly publications in Polish, English and Ukrainian. His recent work centres on the redistributive effects of taxation in Poland, income inequality, and the role of the tax system in shaping income distribution.

Community Engagement

He is interested in the social, cultural and educational integration of Ukrainian citizens living in Poland. He is involved in initiatives that help include migrants more effectively in local communities, particularly through Polish language learning, volunteering and joint cultural events.
