Academic Support Centre of the University of Lodz has received funding in the form of a targeted subsidy from the budget of the Lodz Voivodeship Government. The money will be used to expand the support offer for students with disabilities.

The project entitled "Support for students with disabilities in the education process and scientific and research activities" is to provide specialised support in the education process.
Thanks to the funding obtained by the Academic Support Centre, the University of Lodz will be able to offer, among other things:
- Psychological and coaching consultations: students will be able to benefit from psychological support and coaching to help them cope with the challenges of the study process.
- New hardware and software: Academic Support Centre of the University of Lodz will purchase new hardware and software supporting learning, which will make it easier for students with disabilities to participate in classes and pass exams.
- Social skills workshops: the workshops will be organised to develop social skills which will help students with disabilities better integrate with the academic environment.
- Assistant services: students will be able to use assistant services that will make their daily functioning at the university easier.
The funding received will support students with disabilities and create a more friendly educational environment for all those studying at the University of Lodz. These measures will contribute to a more comfortable studying experience and equalise educational opportunities.
The inititative of the Academic Support Centre is a part of the university's broader activities to build a friendly and open academic community.
