Training: Tutoring akademicki [Academic Tutoring] – basic level training (32 hours)

Participation in the project is free.

Tutoring training is offered to individuals:

  • who teach classes,
  • studying at doctoral schools at the University of Lodz,
  • who want to consciously develop their skills and strengthen relationships with students.

Tutoring in practice

The classes begin on Monday, 16 March of the current year and will be led by members of the University of Lodz Tutors' Association. The course is intended for people who have no experience in working with the tutoring method and have not previously completed training in this field. The programme includes 32 hours of workshop work and provides an introduction to conducting tutoring in an academic environment – based on mindfulness, dialogue and responsibility for student development.

Further editions of the basic-level training are planned for in subsequent six-month periods. Advanced and expert-level training will also be offered in the second half of 2026 and in 2027. These will be certified courses, conducted by an external provider.

"Active"

The "Active" project is being implemented in 2026–2027 as part of the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 programme, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (FERS.01.05-IP.08.-0307/25-00). Its goal is to systemically strengthen the quality of education by developing teaching and digital competencies related to the green transformation and universal design, as well as developing sustainable solutions supporting modern academic teaching at the University of Lodz.

Training as part of the University of Lodz Digital Competence Academy covering, among other things, the use of AI tools and modern educational solutions in teaching, is also planned for spring.
