Prof. Rafał Matera, Rector of the University of Lodz, values direct contact with the UniLodz community and open communication. Who is it for?
All members of our community are welcome: staff, students and doctoral students. Anyone can drop in without prior notice, even if only for ten minutes. The door is always open!

- to raise needs and concerns and work together to find solutions;

How does it work in practice?
The door to “Coffee with the Rector” is open to everyone. You can come in, introduce yourself and start a conversation with a question, an idea, an observation or by sharing a good practice from your faculty. You can also come along simply to listen, ask follow-up questions or join an ongoing discussion. Every form of engagement is welcome and valued.
What do we talk about most often during “Coffee with the Rector”?
- about everyday life at the University of Lodz, including research, teaching and support services;
- about cooperation between the university units;
- about issues important to students and doctoral students;
- about ideas that improve the quality of our shared work and life on the campus.
